Our Access Statement

Introduction

We welcome all visitors to our home which is a one-bedroom Bed and Breakfast.

The following statement is a summary of what we offer.

Transport

The main train station at Petersfield is a 10 minute walk away or 2 minutes by taxi.

The local taxi services have accessible taxis if required. We can make a booking for you or you can book direct on 01730 303030.

On arrival

There is a large public pay and display car park next door. Alternatively, free parking is available in nearby private roads.

Tickets for the car park are required between 08.00 and 18.00 Monday to Saturday and 10.00 to 16.00 on Sunday (no charge on Bank Holidays). Rates are 40p for the first hour, 90p for two hours, £1.20 for three hours, £2.00 for four hours, £2.40 for five hours, £2.90 for nine hours and £4.80 for all day. No tickets are required if a Disabled badge is displayed.

Main Entrance

The front garden entrance gate is 90 cm wide

The porch has three shallow steps 6 cm and 4 cm high with a 6 cm threshold into the hall. The door is 86 cm wide.

Public Area (Ground floor)

As you come into the house, there is a large dining hall where seating is available. There is a fourteen-step return staircase to the first floor with a half-landing with banisters all the way up. The stairs are 81 cm wide, 15 cm high and 28 cm deep.

Guest Bedroom

There is one double/twin bedroom with en suite facilities. The doorway is narrow at 52 cm wide. There is an 18 cm high step up into the guestroom. The bed is 70 cm high.

En-suite shower

The entrance to the shower room is 50 cm wide and there is one 23 cm high step up into the shower itself. There are no grab rails.

Toilet

The door to the toilet is 54cm wide. There are no grab rails. There is no other WC available for guest use.

Lounge / Dining room

Breakfast is served in the guest dining room on the ground floor. Menus can be supplied in large print on request.
